Arte Total: Assembly on Arts Education
The main objective of the Assembly is to initiate a fight in defense of an artistic teaching where one can truly show ways and enable students with tools that are not exclusively focused on the accumulation of competences and certificates. The aim is to stimulate this fight, with a discussion and public debate on the social, civic and developmental importance of artistic education.

Dr. Lídia Dias - Braga City Councilor of the Department of Culture and Education; Prof. Catarina Martins - director of the Research Institute in Art Design and Society of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto; António Durães - actor and Professor at the School of Music and Performing Arts; Dr. Paulo Duarte of the Company of Jesus / Instituto Nun'Alvres; the choreographer Sílvia Real of group 23: silence; Dr. Armando Pinho - member of Arte Total, also the moderator of this conversation.
