In 2017, Braga was officially designated as Creative City of UNESCO in the field of Media Arts. An International Network of Creative Cities that aims to strengthen cooperation between cities that consider creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable urban development with social, cultural and economic impact.

The RoadShow, prepared by the Braga Media Arts Educational Service, fills the space between creation, media arts and the community. It pretends to be a series of exhibitions and presentations of works by young university students, developed in different secondary school of Braga.

For this new cycle, IPCA's Higher School of Design, partner of the Braga Media Arts Educational Service for the RoadShow, proposes the presentation of 6 short films developed by students of Illustration and Animation, about 45 minutes long, in the secondary schools Dona Maria II and Alberto Sampaio.

In a crucial phase of decisions that shape their future, this set of events aims to bring students closer to the Media Arts universe by highlighting another possible academic and professional path, geared towards the creative and artistic industries, which are in full growth in the city of Braga.

It also proposes that "O Chapéu", winner of the Sophia 2018 awards of the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, be the target of an open lecture in each participating secondary school, given by director Alexandra Allen.
