After having passed through Lisbon in April, Braga hosts, over three days, shows, performances, films, music, debates, and conversations at the Festival Política. This year's edition has Disinformation as its central theme and the war in Europe as a backdrop.

On the first day of the festival, this Thursday at 6:30 pm, the performance Blossom/Florescer by Ana Caridade will take place, with the participation of users of CERCI Braga.  This video-dance performance is based on the history of the Casa das Convertidas in Braga, a place for the conversion of women who had "less correct" behavior in society. During the days of the festival, the installation "False Titles", by Rui Sebastian, about the democratization of the media can be visited. The program also includes several film sessions, such as the presentation of the documentary "The Invisible Music" by Tiago Pereira, about gypsy music, and the show "The Big Lie", by Hugo van der Ding.

With the aim of promoting civic participation, the defense of human rights, and the fight against abstention, the Festival Política was created in 2017, in Lisbon, by the Isonomia Association (NGO). Since 2019, its programming happens in the city of Braga. All activities are access free.
