OPEN CALL: Visions of transformations to sustainability
The International Conference on Sustainability Transitions (IST) takes place October 5-8, 2021, organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems Research and Innovation (ISI) in a UNESCO Media Arts city in Karlsruhe. Under the theme "Visions of transformations for sustainability", artists or groups of artists are sought to present project proposals for a artwork.
As UNESCO City of Media Arts, Karlsruhe is committed to the "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals", in particular the role of creativity and culture in building sustainable urban societies.
The artwork will be presented in virtual form at the IST Conference on 7 October 2021. Subsequently, exhibitions are planned at various locations and events of the Fraunhofer ISI and within the exhibition format Seasons of Media Arts, organized in Karlsruhe by UNESCO City of Media Arts.
