Organized by PLASTIC Collective and The Animation Workshop - VIA University College (TAW), the new Artist Residency Program of Viborg, Denmark, aims to welcome artists from all over the world to create digital art prototypes accessible to the public, spreading them throughout the most diverse locations in the city.

Over a period of three to four months (duration of the program), the artists will be invited to join a network of international creative cities, where they will be able to explore the various fields of digital art, including animation, video mapping, apps, games and XR fields. This network will give the artists-in-residence the opportunity to work with a range of local people, and consultants and professionals from the digital arts sphere.

The artists selected to join the residency program will be offered accommodation, financial support of 25,000 Danish kroner (around 3,350€), travel assistance, consultancy and a workspace within PLASTIC Collective.
