Created in 2016, the Braga International Video Dance Festival is a platform for the dissemination, learning, and development of artistic work with a focus on the body and technology, using video dance as a means of expression.
In this year's edition, the festival is divided into three categories: "Video Dance", "Short Video Dance" and "New Creators". The jury is composed of digital artist Alex Pachón, director and photographer Tânia Dinis, and artistic director and choreographer Cristina Mendanha. The jury will award all categories, and on the day of the festival, the public will select their favorite video, in the "Public Choice" category.
Video proposals can be submitted individually or by artistic collectives (formal or informal), as long as a collective representative submits the application. The "New Creators" category is only for high school or college students. Submissions here.
