This inaugural edition of "Explorations on Sound and New Media Art Conference" aims to celebrate the convergence of sound, new media and artistic expression by exploring a diverse range of innovative practices, theories and approaches. It also promotes meaningful discussions that critically examine traditional notions of art and push the boundaries of creativity, and brings together artists, musicians, performers, academics and technologists.

Writer and researcher Salomé Voegelin and Gaby Wijers, founder of the Living Media Art Foundation (LIMA), are the first confirmed guests for the conference.

Paper proposals must be submitted by 1 September and the results will be announced on 25 September. Papers must be written in English. Submissions and information here.
