Electronic music and digital art will once again be in focus at OCUPA. Over three days, the gnration will host performances, conversations, and exhibitions. The sixth edition will feature the presentation of Winter Club, a show that unites the visuals of Adriana Romero and Joana Patrão with the electronics of the British Scanner and an installation developed under the City to City program, LIMBO. The program also features the duo Fura Olhos and Pedro Sousa (cody xv) and Daniel Martinho.

The first day of OCUPA opens with the result of a week of improvisation and experimentation with Paulo Furtado and Rodrigo Areias along with local artists. The Winter Club performance takes place at 10 pm on Thursday at the BlackBox. Admission is free.

On Friday, the duo formed by Miguel Pedro and Inês Malheiro takes the stage to present their debut album with the same name. Fura Olhos' performance will take place at 10 pm. On the same day, at 7 pm, you can watch a free conversation with electronic music producer and multimedia artist Robin Rimbaud, aka Scanner.

On the last day, Pedro Sousa (Cody xv) and Daniel Martinho present work in six parts for a modular synthesizer. The concert takes place at 5:30 pm. Closing the 2021 edition, visual artists Adriana Romero and Joana Patrão join Scanner in a concert that is not to be missed.

But there's more! The piece LIMBO can be seen for free, from Friday to Saturday, in the training room. This installation resulted from the collaboration between João Carlos Pinto, Braga's winning artist of the City to City 2020 initiative, and Sarah Degenhardt, winner of the city of Karlsruhe in Germany.

The promotion of a perspective on artistic production in the fields of electronic music and digital art in Braga is the motto of OCUPA - an event promoted by the AUAUFEIOMAU cooperative with support from the Municipality of Braga and gnration.

Daily tickets or general tickets for OCUPA #6 are available here and usual places.
