Mini Sound Map discovering Braga
What if you built a digital map with several sounds of the city of Braga? The Mini Sound Map proposes you a journey to discover the sounds of Braga heritage, in which you will identify and record your sound references. Later, your sound discoveries will be illustrated and will give origin to a visual and sound map.
Since 2018, this project has traveled to several schools in the Braga municipality, giving rise to more than a hundred maps. Now, the Mini Sound Map jumps the school wall and goes on an adventure in the historical sites of Braga.
In these Mini Sound Maps to discover Braga we will listen to the Seminary of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, a 95-year-old institution dedicated to the formation of future priests; and the Treasury-Museum of Braga Cathedral, a place full of history that keeps relics such as a Roman-Christian tomb from the 5th century and the Chalice of St. Gerard.
