The Digital Deal Podcast #11: Touching Memories, with Yulia Sion, Nuno Correia and Michael Banissy
The eleventh episode of the 'Digital Deal Podcast' gives voice to memory and brings together the perspectives of researcher Yulia Sion, researcher and visual artist Nuno Correia and professor and Michael Banissy.

Discussing the relationship between technology and society has never been so essential. Co-funded by the European Union's Creative Europe programme, the 'Digital Deal Podcast' takes on this need and invites artists, critics, cultural theorists and AI experts to talk and reflect on how new technologies influence our democracies and help us understand these changes.
In the eleventh episode of the podcast, we ask questions such as: What is the weight of human memories in an era dominated by digital movements? How can haptic and sound sensibilities shape the way we relate to our memories?
Under the theme 'Touching Memories', researcher Yulia Sion, researcher and visual artist Nuno Correia, and professor and author Michael Banissy explore the power of touch and sound in recreating and conveying memories, as a way to build empathy and bridge generational gaps in the digital age.
