Teacher Training: Integrating XR technologies into the educational context
This training aims to introduce teachers to the use of Extended Reality (XR) technologies in their teaching practice. The term XR encompasses Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality technologies. This ACD will enable teachers and students to use this knowledge to develop projects that promote the interconnection of content from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective.

Target audience Primary and secondary school teachers.
Materials needed Participants should bring their cell phone and laptop (ideally, if possible, a portable school kit + hotspot). A list of software/apps to be installed will be sent to each participant before the training.

Bárbara Cleto
Bárbara Cleto has a degree in Teaching Electronics and Computer Science from University of Aveiro, a postgraduate degree in Multimedia Communication from University of Aveiro (branches of Interactive Multimedia and Audiovisuals) and a Master's Degree and Specialization in Engineering in Digital Games Development from Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave.
Cleto is a student on the Doctoral Program in Multimedia in Education at University of Aveiro, a promoter and trainer for the "Pequenos Makers (Little Makers)" project and a school teacher in group 550 (computer science). She is also a collaborating member of uniMAD and guest assistant at School of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD/IPP), where teaches courses in Multimedia and Augmented Reality.
