SCREENAGERS Vol. 2
Based on the idea that songs have always served as repositories of common experiences, and as a way of creating bridges between generations, SCREENAGERS Vol.2 is a kind of musical comedy about the chaotic deluge of our online lives. The performer uses her digital activities as material to create songs, transforming her online life into an epic story, written unconsciously and spontaneously while surfing the internet. Emphasising the performative nature of our digital lives, the audience can interact directly with the show with their smartphones to collectively write the lyrics to a song, play a video game, send photographs or appear on stage as memes or avatars.
