BMA lab: Expanded Performance - Intermedia Experiences in Contemporary Theatre, with Barbara Matijević
In this masterclass, Barbara Matijević offers an immersion in the intermedia universe of the performing arts, drawing on her vast practical experience. After an introduction to the use of digital and audiovisual media in theatre, concrete examples of projects developed by Barbara and Giuseppe Chico, creators of SCREENAGERS Vol. 2 (page X), will be presented, illustrating how this approach differs from other practices. The session will also include a time for questions and answers, encouraging an open and enriching dialogue between participants and the artist.

Barbara Matijević
Barbara Matijević is the founder and co-artistic director of the Paris-based theatre company Premier Stratagème. In her work, she explores the impact of digital culture on storytelling, through autofictional performances, performative lectures, radio plays, choreographies or installations. As a dancer and actress, she has worked with various choreographers and directors, including Boris Charmatz and Joris Lacoste.
