BERTIE
BERTIE is a VR experience for multiple player-performers. In an apocalyptic virtual environment, polluted by mountains of digital waste and populated by abandoned characters, players will have to navigate this techno-melancholic territory together, while dealing with notions of legacy, orphanhood, waste...
This show is presented simultaneously at Rivoli, Campo Alegre and gnration (Braga), based on the idea of a cooperative electronic game (co-op), in which people collaborate to achieve a common goal. The three spaces will share the same narrative from different points of view: the audience in each space will follow the behavior of one of the three characters in this game. In three different spaces, the people who watch and the characters who play, come together in a collective experience.
