This training aims to provide teachers with the acquisition of essential skills for their professional activity so that, at the end, they have the knowledge and skills to include and use Extended Reality (XR) technologies in their teaching practice. The term XR encompasses Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality technologies.
It intends to enable teachers and students to use this knowledge in the development of projects that promote the interconnection of content from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective.

      Bárbara Cleto has a degree in Electronics and Computer Science from the University of Aveiro.
      She has a post-graduate degree in Multimedia Communication from the University of Aveiro (branches of Interactive Multimedia and Audiovisuals) and a Masters and Engineering Specialization in Digital Game Development from the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave. She is a student of the PhD Program in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. She is also an animator and trainer of the project Pequenos Makers and a teacher of computer science. Bárbara is also an invited assistant at Escola Superior De Media Artes E Design (ESMAD/IPP), where she teaches courses in the area of Multimedia and Augmented Reality and collaborating member of uniMAD.
