The work of visual artist António Jorge Gonçalves involves comics, illustration, visual performance, and political cartoons.

Along with the various books he publishes, he uses the method of digital drawing in real-time and the creative manipulation of objects in an overhead projector to create visual solo shows or in dialogue with partners as different as the band Galandum Galundaina or the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisbon, pianist Bernardo Sassetti or choreographer Amélia Bentes.

In the first part of the masterclass, the artist will show his path and the various aspects of his work in terms of drawing and interdisciplinary practices through images and videos.

In the second part, the artist will explain his method and performative dynamics of digital drawing in real-time, giving participants the opportunity to experiment and interact with this language.
