"Wave Interference" is a kinetic sculpture consisting of 88 fluorescent tubes mechanically animated as an undulating waterfall of light. A 19th century pump organ provides a constantly changing drone, creating the soundtrack and setting the mood for experiencing the work. Robyn Moody lives and works in Calgary, Canada and received his MFA from NSCAD University in 2006. He takes a whimsical and multifaceted approach to artmaking, lately focused on electronics, mechanics, installation, sound, mechanics and sculpture.
